A stronger Malaysian agarwood ecosystem cannot be built by one organisation alone. Meaningful progress comes from bringing together different perspectives, expertise and resources around a shared purpose.
The Malaysia Artistic Agarwood Association (MAAA) connects industry, academia, government and global partners to encourage knowledge exchange, responsible development and greater understanding of Malaysian agarwood.
Through strategic collaboration, we seek to create opportunities for research, education, conservation, cultural exchange and industry engagement — strengthening Malaysia’s position within the international agarwood community.
Connecting universities, researchers and scientific expertise
Bridging practitioners, businesses and agarwood knowledge
Supporting dialogue with agencies and public institutions
Building international knowledge and cultural exchange
Malaysia’s agarwood ecosystem brings together many areas of knowledge — from forestry and biodiversity to fragrance, culture, research, trade and conservation. Creating meaningful connections between these fields can open new opportunities for knowledge sharing and responsible development.
The Malaysia Artistic Agarwood Association serves as a platform for collaboration, connecting organisations and individuals with complementary expertise. Through partnerships in Malaysia and internationally, we aim to encourage dialogue, exchange knowledge and develop initiatives that contribute to the long-term future of Malaysian agarwood.
